Spanish Special Forces Unit is getting ready for the future!
The Delegate for Security and Emergencies, Maria Inmaculada Sanz, visited on January 22, the special unit in the district of Aragnzuela to inspect the new powerful and reliable motorcycles.
As the capital and residence of the royal family, Madrid is a busy metropolis in which many events require a strong police presence. A modern and future-oriented vehicle fleet is essential. The newly acquired BMW motorcycles make a valuable contribution here and raise the effectiveness of the motorcycle squad of the Spanish special forces to the next level.
The investment will help to renew and modernize the vehicle fleet. With the handover of the BMW models, the officers can look forward to technically completely up-to-date motorcycles.
"In this way, we renew a fleet that in some cases is quite old. These are the latest generation of motorcycles designed for the security forces, with the most advanced technology and the most reliable technical efficiency," the councilman said.
More motorcycles are planned for the environmental department this year.
